Read Together mural

We wanted to celebrate the joy of reading in a big way, so we commissioned a community mural in Charlotte inspired by local third graders’ artwork.

We hope you and your family will stop by Morris Costumes on Monroe Road in the Oakhurst neighborhood to see it, and share your photos using #ReadTogetherCLT!

This was such a fun and inspiring project, and we’re so happy to have it live on in the community for years to come. A big thank you to everyone who came together to make it happen: Brian Twitty Photography, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Morris Costumes, Oakhurst STEAM Academy, and Scott Nurkin of The Mural Shop.
